wire nest and bead eggs

  I learned this from

  Lisa's Craft blog

 you need about three ft of 24 gauge wire and three beads

  spiraled the end of the wire
 so it wouldn't poke through 

 then  just pushed it down
 into the middle of the nest to hide it

crimped up the nest -
  I used smaller egg shaped beads -
 then painted them robins egg blue -

  glued the three painted beads (eggs) into the nest

this is a wooden robin I made to go with the nest.
