Happy Last Friday of February 2013

to attend the local art festival this fall with some of my art
maybe third time is a charm?
Maybe - Maybe not
I plan to make interesting little mobiles out of the little birds
I also will have birds I carved a bit
and sanded a bit
and textured a bit
and painted a bit.

Well I'd select you! Birds are a very en vogue as images etc at the moment too, so your lovely textured sanded painted and proud birds are perfect!

Your birds are wonderful and how awesome that you carve them yourself! All the best with your workshop and your plans to show them at the art festival!

Your little hand carved and painted birds are delightful! I do a little woodwork, but don't think I am very good at it. Blessings!

Hi Kat,
Oh, I love your birds! I hope you get selected for the Art Show this year. The Craft Fair I did last year was one that isn't juried and also the price is much cheaper. Perhaps there are shows like that in your area too?
I love the cardinal, oh but the little bluebird is adorable too!!!
Thanks for visiting me. Today we are expecting another snow storm so I'm hoping for a "Snow Day" from work tomorrow. That may be toomuch to task for though....
Hugs,
Kay
What fun this looks like, love all the tools used, and the end results are terrific! I expect to see them taking flight anytime now.
HPPF!
such cute and happy birds!!
My fave - birds. Yikes, you carved them. . . beautiful colors too. Blessings, Janet PPF
I like your work, especially the cardinal! Thanks for the suggestion of the online classes. The third one is my cup of tea. Out of curiosity... I live in Kenton. I rarely see websites from Ohio artists. Keep up the great work!
