My Scout Hiking in Kentucky

My son and husband
 are campers - hikers- adventurers
I usually stay home and create my art
peace and quiet and no one
 looking over my shoulder ...
Less commenting before I am ready
...or want a comment to happen
so being alone is working out great
 for the creative process

I have four sons
as I have mentioned before on here
and as they are all going their own ways,
getting older
finding their place in their own lives.,
I am going my own way a little bit more

My artistic/ creative side is coming alive
more and more
I think because of the alone time I now have
If that makes sense to any one else,
 let me know.
Here is the latest camping adventure
 for the guys

wonderful Kentucky hills country

beautiful area, for sure!

i can totally relate to creating in private/quiet. i don't like critique until i'm ready for it. :)

beautiful photos, I think as our children become more independent we find our creative side comes out more and more, we have so much responsibilities when they are little, believe me, mine have all now reached their thirties and its sometimes hard to see them as adults but I love the fact I now am free to create to my hearts desire, its a wonderful feeling and we deserve it as mums, we earned this, we have no need to feel guilty or selfish, its just the rhythm of life, keep those adventurers taking these brilliant photos it gives you more inspiration!!!!

Beautiful photos Kat. Love the scenery and I too love the quiet time to do art.

Your husband and sons are quite the adventurers! Those are some incredible photos of beautiful places. Enjoy your time, Kat. You've raised some independent fellows!
