Paint-Party time- Happy Friday

No...I am not trying to make a puzzle
This is the two multi-med art works
that I have been working on this week
one is from a watercolor of a bluebird
and the other is from a watercolor of a cardinal

I applied the pieces -that i tore up to a canvas with gel and paint

the twine is for  the stems/ branches

I used old silk flowers for the flowers (that was genius right?)
the leaves are cut from canvas drop cloth material
I like how this cardinal one turned out the best

this bluebird on needs more work!

happy Friday all

Both look great. The colors in the cardinal one are eye-catching and the blue bird one is so soothing.

Precious both, I think you used the acuerela in dry, right?, the role did not previously wet it. Saludos

They are both wonderful...I always like blue birds better just because! The tiny flowers around the bird are very pretty! ♥

I love them both but the cardinal is my favorite. So fun that there's a linky party for all you talented artists. Hope you have a great week!

Good grief, canvas drop cloth, who would have thought. I love both paintings. . . and the descriptions of what you used. Mixed media is very different, I like it. Blessings, Janet PPF
