Love It!!!! Your sister will be happy even if the cardinal doesn't show up.

You really captured the birch trees and I love all the colors. Beautiful!
Thanks for coming by for a visit today. I really like your birch trees and I think a cardinal would look pretty in there. I think the trees are just beautiful.
I scrolled down through your posts, you have a lovely family.
I just wanted to say hi and I will be back to see how your painting comes along.

I love birch trees and this is turning out so beautiful! I loved your photos from your trip too!
Happy PPF! Theresa
Great painting. Can you collage the cardinal? I know what you mean about not wanting to mess up!!
Great piece, I love birches, and have 2 in front of my window, which change so beautifully from season to season. Thanks for showing how you made it, too! Greetings from Kaiserswerth in Rhineland, Valerie
Looks wonderful. You could always do a cardinal then collage it on...or do it and copy it on. That way you can get it exact to what you want!!

Fantastic painting Kat, and wishing loads of luck. happy ppf :)
Oh Kat I like I like, you really have caught the birch and it's wonderful Dxx
Kat, this is a beautiful painting. I love birch trees and your painting has this very special mood that I often find with these trees. I liked to see your process - and I can understand your fear of ruining it if you add the cardinal. However, the cardinal would be a delightful touch and sometimes we just have to overcome our fear and just jump in. Easier said than done, I know.
Looking amazing...loved watching the progression and the idea of the red bird is a perfect pop of color! Happy PPF! POP ART MINIS
Oh wow its an amazing picture have loved watching this progress. Happy PPF, Annette x
I do wish you luck and bravery with it and I think it looks fantastic already.
I really enjoyed seeing your process - I always love to get a glimpse of how other artists work! I think your painting is already wonderful, but if you would like to add the cardinal I say, "Go for it!"

This is just stunning! I love how you've just selected the trunks of the trees and they disappear off the top of the painting into the sky. Really really love this piece!
No bravery needed...it is lovely! Happy PPF!
