pocket for a tote

soon we will be having our parish women's retreat
I am on the "Giving  Team" this year
and we have spent a whole year preparing for this weekend in February.

I am so excited to be among so many spiritual ladies
and to spend a weekend
listening to His Song
for our hearts

I painted a background with acrylics on a canvas cloth
and added felt hands that I ended up painting
details onto the hands also to give them more definition

Took that photo and added text in "paint program"
on my computer and made an iron on photo

liquid -stitch  pocket to  tote bag - glued on a trim  rope for added color

I made a front pocket using this liquid stitch it is great stuff

"You have to Hear the Music
Before you can Hear the Song."
I don't know where this quote came from exactly...
it was on a piece of paper and written down by my mother
- found in her bible after her death

Very nice totes, beautifully done. Thanks for the comments re selling the necklaces, we're working on a proper web page for them with Buy It Now buttons, I put those few on my blog just to see if there would be any interest at all, to see if the web page was worthwhile.

Enjoy your weekend,
Hugs
