This is an oil painting I did from a photo a friend took. I decided to do it in the palette knife style, which I enjoy playing around with. |
It is now framed and hanging in the studio gallery area i hope to sell it
but it may just be the wrong time of year for a flower painting

All the yellow, and the energy in your brush strokes makes me think of a flock of butterflies hovering over a field of flowers.

this is beautiful. I've never painted with a palette knife but I certainly love the textured effect you've achieved on this painting. I've never order prints before so I can't help you there but I'll also be interested to hear what others have to say about it!
