CARDINALS - in H2o soluble oil paints

cardinals in a tree

started out like this

can you see the cardinal pair?

Having a great time painting this week

I guess you could say the cardinals are my favorite bird to paint and to watch

Last night My Hubby and I
Heard an Owl
  who-who-who-wotwotowot H00TING

It was so cool to hear
every time the frogs and toads stopped chattering
 the owl could be heard
I am wondering if the frogs are trying to
hide their presence from the owl

Fantastic! I tried painting a cardinal, it wound up extremely fat because I kept trying to get the feathers on the body just right...

lol Oh well, chalk it up to experience.

Love your painting,
