Paintings In Progress - WOYWW

I hope everyone is having a good week so far!
the warmer weather is certainly here in Ohio
and loads if spring showers too !
everything is so green and lush
that is being reflected in my latest painting
of a green forest of ceder trees

 my home studio work area
well it really isn't work so much as fun
I changed the background a bit on this one (8 by 10) oil painting

These pears are more green ..I love this color of green
there is my curious cat- Shirl
...she keeps an eye on the birds out front
filling up my wall with paintings that are in the drying out stage
I've been playing around with this one for a long time
I think it is just about time to stop
on the red plate are my palette knives
Next week I should have my prints of some of  these
that I ordered from my Fine Art America.com site
I'm going to do a comparison post to see what you think
 ... of the prints.
I ordered various papers and also prints on canvas
I will be able to put a much lower price
on prints at the art show in September that I am entered in.

Hi Kat,

Your artwork is so beautiful. I like the greenish pears too. The birch trees are one of my favorites (at first I thought they were aspen, which we have in the area).

Happy WOYWW

I'm getting around late this week...but better late than never!?!?

You're doing some beautiful work! I used to paint in oils and absolutely loved it, but a neck injury has put an end to me being able to hold my arms out in front of me for long enough to paint anything. So...papercrafts, it is!!!

Thanks for stopping by and taking a peek!

I love the bare trees (birch?) on your wall, and the cityscape is brilliant! Would I be right in guessing that it's New York - kind looks like the Brooklyn Bridge.... I guess this means I've watched far too many episodes of CSI:NY...
